POLICE arrested two men for allegedly using dynamite while fishing off Barangay Mancilang, Madridejos last Monday morning.
Wilson Santillan Sayses and Rodney Searez Dollantes were caught throwing dynamite sticks that exploded in the sea.
The suspects were apprehended by the police and Bantay Dagat members at 9 a.m.
No explosives were found in the suspects’ boat, but their catch was examined by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, who said the fish had traces of powder.
They will face complaints for violating fisheries laws.
