'Drug pusher' shot dead in Consolacion, Cebu

A SUSPECTED drug pusher was shot dead around 12 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, after he allegedly failed to pay his debts to his supplier in Sitio Lumanoy, Barangay Tilhaong, Consolacion, Cebu.

Police Officer 1 Macroe Lanurias identified the victim as Erickson Villamor, who succumbed to gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.

He was driving his motorcycle when he was attacked by two men riding on a motorcycle.

The back rider then shot Villamor several times.

The alleged gunman was identified as Jessie Casada, who fled after the incident.

Senior Inspector Romeo Caacoy, the town police deputy chief, said investigators were told by informants that Casada supplied methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” to Villamor.

The victim's wife told Caacoy that she did not know he was involved in illegal drug trade.
