P20,000 cash reward for arrest of escapee

THE Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Negros Island Region (BJMP-NIR) will give a cash reward of P20,000 to anyone who can provide information on the whereabouts of the remaining escapee of Metro Bacolod District Jail-Special Intensive Care Area (MBDJ-Sica).

Marlon Molina, 38, of Murcia town is still at large after he escaped from the jail in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City last June 4.

He was with two other inmates, Noli Dega, 39 and Ebson Jaen, 36, both of Bacolod City, when he escaped. However, Dega and Jaen were already recaptured.

Senior Superintendent Alberto Balauag, acting director of BJMP-NIR, had earlier said that Molina is just hiding in Bacolod and can be recaptured soon.

Chief Inspector Jonairy Sitchon, during his stint as warden of MBDJ-Sica, said that he is willing to give a P10,000 cash reward each to anyone who can give information about the whereabouts of the two escapees.

On June 14, Dega was recaptured at his relative’s house in Barangay Caduha-an, Cadiz City after 10 days of hiding.

Dega was traced by the intelligence operatives of the city police station, who received a cash reward of P10,000 for his arrest.

Jaen was immediately recaptured outside the jail after he got injured when he fell during his escape.

Dega was moved to BJMP in Talisay City while Jaen is still under the custody of MBDJ-Sica.

Both are restricted from having visitors.
