A JEEPNEY driver is in critical condition after he was shot by a group of minors who robbed him and his passengers in Barangay Linao-Lipata, Minglanilla yesterday noon.
Police said Manuel Tantan had four passengers when the six minors rode the jeep in Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City.
Upon reaching Barangay Linao-Lipata at 11 a.m., the men declared a hold-up. One of them pulled out a .38 caliber pistol and fired at Tantan in the back.
Tantan was brought to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.
Police arrested the gunman and two other minors.
