Tourism summit set in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Provincial Government of Pampanga and the Department of Tourism-Central Luzon are hosting the Pampanga Tourism Summit on Tuesday, June 20.

With the theme “Strengthening Tourism Synergy in Pampanga,” the event will be held 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Royce Hotel inside Clark Freeport.

The summit is expected to bring together stakeholders and various sectors to discuss the best practices of famous tourist destinations in the Philippines that may be adopted in Pampanga.

Sectors are expected to bring up and address various concerns of the different tourism stakeholders in the province to strengthen the industry as well as improve the current working relationships among the different stakeholders in the industry.

The summit will also induce a private sector-driven tourism promotion effort as well as help manage security in today’s tourism and travel risks.

Other topis to be discussed will be the building of the Pampanga tourism brand as well crisis communication for tourism establishments in the light of the recent Resorts World attack in Manila.
