Anne Curtis, Angel Locsin make it to Twitter’s most influential women list

ACTRESSES Anne Curtis and Angel Locsin are included in “The 100 Most Influential Women On Twitter," which was released by news aggregator Huffington Post UK last week.

Curtis ranked 37th right after American singer Beyoncé. The actress has eight million followers on the micro-blogging site.

Locsin placed 87th. The actress, who has 6.1 million followers, was behind Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.

Huffington Post UK and Twitter’s marketing company Social Bro ranked the top 100 women based on three filters from the influence measurement tool Kred.

“First, we ranked the top women based on their 'influence' (a score out of 1,000 ranking the likelihood that someone will trust a Twitter user and act upon their posts). We then filtered based on their 'outreach' (how active they are on Twitter, hence Beyoncé's 'outreach' score is a pitiful zero) and finally sorted each segment by the number of followers. Only verified accounts were considered,” Huffington Post said.
