Eton Centris on lockdown after security guard runs amok

A COMMERCIAL building in Quezon City that houses a call center company and other establishments was placed on lockdown early Wednesday morning after a drunk security guard ran amok.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director Oscar Albayalde said based on initial report, the security guard is armed with 9mm pistol.

The unidentified security guard then locked himself in one of the offices located at the ground floor of Eton Centris, a mall along EDSA corner Quezon Avenue.

He said authorities already informed the relatives of the security guard and invited them in the site.
