LOCAL football fans will be treated to exciting football action in the next two Sundays of the month, with the last two championship matches of the17th Aboitiz Football Cup.

This Sunday, Accenture will try to defend the Men's Inter-BPO title against Voice Connect at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) football pitch in Mandaue.

Accenture snagged last year's Men's Inter-BPO crown with a 2-0 win over Innodata FC.

Accenture and Voice Connect advanced to the finals after finishing as the two best teams in the division. Accenture is No. 1 with 15 points from five wins and a loss, while Voice Connect ended unbeaten but was a point behind Accenture with 14 points from four wins and two draws.

Voice Connect, however, is the only team that has beaten Accenture this season, 1-0, in the elimination round.

Accenture is looking to sweep the Inter-BPO division after their women's team won the title with a 1-0 victory over Eperformax.

On the other hand, Timex takes on NCR for third place honors.

The Sunday on the following week will the be the Men's Open championships between Leylam FC and Erco BRO Gau at the Cebu City Sports Center.

Don Bosco United FC, in the meantime, is up against Don Bosco Technology Center Erco BRO in the battle-for-third match.
