AS IT expands outside of the Visayas, Grand Land, Inc., the real estate arm of the Gaisano Grand Group of Companies, launched their first residential project in Davao City, Amani Grand, yesterday at the Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City.
Amani Grand will rise in a 2.8 hectare (ha.) area in City Gate, Grand Land's 8 ha. mixed-used development in Buhangin. The residential development will be comprised of four mid-rise residential towers with over a thousand units combined.
Grand Land President Ryan Bernard Go, in an interview yesterday with SunStar Davao at the Grand Regal Hotel, said the development will cater to the lifestyle of the Yuppies, Millennial, and middle-class, which are also the project's target markets.
He said the residential development will feature 70 percent open spaces with pools, playground, an amphitheater, and green spaces. The development will also include a clubhouse, multi-purpose area, and barbecue deck.
Business process outsourcing and commercial buildings are also locate outside of the residential project.
The nine-level Amani Grand buildings offer studio and one-bedroom units with a size ranging from 27 square meters (sqm.) to 40 sqm. The studio units are currently being offered at P1.78 million while the one-bedroom units at P2.86 million.
Go said potential buyers may also combine the units together to create a much larger unit.
At present, he said most of the buyers are Dabawenyos and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), who are looking for a home to settle down to. He also noted buyers outside of Davao City.
Go said they are confident with the Davao market despite the presence of a number of residential and mixed-used developers. He said there will still be a demand for housing units.
He said the construction of the project will begin immediately once they have complied with all their documents. Go said the company targets to start with the land development by the fourth quarter of this year and target to turn over the first building by 2021.
