4 drug suspects arrested in Bacolod pension house

FOUR persons were arrested for sale and possession of illegal drugs inside a pension house on San Juan Street, Barangay 13 in Bacolod City Sunday afternoon, June 25.

Police identified the target subject as Jade Babaran, 43, a street level target drug personality. The three others were caught holding “pot session” inside the room.

Recovered from Babaran’s possession were eight sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu" amounting to P8,000, the P300 drug bust money, drug paraphernalia, P500 cash, and a homemade .38 caliber revolver loaded with three live ammunition.

On June 21, Dennis Mark Demafiles, 20, of Barangay Estefania, was also arrested in a drug bust at a lodging house in Purok Riverside, Barangay Bata.

Demafiles sold shabu to a police agent for P200.

Confiscated from him were two sachets of shabu worth P5,000, and the P200 marked money.

Personnel of Police Station 6 also caught three persons holding “pot session” at Libertad Public Market in Barangay 40 last Sunday.

The suspects were identified as Joey Javelona, 42, of City Heights Subdivision, Barangay Taculing; Benmer Parrar, 20, of Bangga Alit, Barangay Mansilingan; and Jessie Moldez, 27, of Barangay Handumanan.

All three yielded five sachets of shabu worth P2,300, and two lighters.
