LUIS Manzano dispelled speculations that he had an overlapping relationship with ex-girlfriend Angel Locsin and current flame Jessy Mendiola.
While the two are celebrating their first anniversary, the comment sections of their respective Instagram account were bombarded with messages questioning his relationship with the actress.
Some netizens accused him of having a relationship with Mendiola while still very much committed to Locsin.
Manzano finally addressed his critics by commenting on Mendiola's account and clarifying that he was already single as early as January 2016.
"To everyone asking or pretending to be 'detectives,' I was already single January pa lang. Around 2 days after the Star Wars Force Awakens showing here," he wrote.
The television host added that he only started going out with Mendiola after his birthday on April 21.
"And the first time we got to really hangout was my birthday last year. Kung may iba kayong alam na mas alam pa sa amin, aba, e di kayo na!"
To recall, rumors of Manzano and Locsin separating circulated first quarter of 2016.
The two remained mum for some time while still working opposite each other in "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 5."
By second quarter of last year, Manzano and Mendiola were already seen hanging out with each other. The two became officially a couple by June 2016.
Manzano advised netizens not to believe everything they read on the news or in the Internet.
"So, that's crystal clear. So don't pretend to know it all when all you see/read/know are from tabloids or social media. If you still can't understand that e di kayo na may problema," he ended. (SunStar Philippines)
