A 24-YEAR-OLD Negrense from Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental topped the graduating class of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) this year.
Cadet First Class Fritz John Vallador is the valedictorian of Class Maragtas (Magiting at Responsableng Alagad ng Batas na Gagabay sa Transpormasyong Alay sa Bayang Sinilangan).
Vallador was raised by her aunt since he was five years old, when her mother left for Spain to work as a domestic helper.
He has not met his father.
Negros Occidental Sixth District Representative Mercedes Alvarez said she is proud that somebody from Kabankalan City became the valedictorian of this year’s PNPA class, which has 106 cadets.
The solon congratulated Vallador and his family for such a feat that will truly bring a good name for himself and a Negrense.
