There are so many tourist destinations and places to go in Davao City that will surely make your stay worthwhile and would surely make you want to come back in the future. It doesn’t matter whether you are visiting Davao with your family or barkada, the city offers a lot to be seen and experience.

This 81st Araw ng Dabaw, knowing a lot would visit the city for the first time to join in the fun, here are a few suggestions to visit when you’re in Davao:

With your family

Especially when you have kids with you, the Altitude Indoor Trampoline Park in Lanang is a perfect place to spend a few hours. It was opened in May 2017 and it is the first trampoline park in the Mindanao. It has a wide array of trampolines and tumble tracks that will surely make the kids in you come alive again. Some of the other activities offered include basketball, dodge ball, and zumba among others. Not only that, when tired after all the jumping and the rolling, the family can eat at their restaurant or play less-tiring games at the arcade – everything in one building.

Every first Saturday of the month, the Philippine Eagle Center in Malagos offers free birdwatching session starting 5 a.m. With the Philippines home to about 600 bird species, it is of great experience to spot birds like kingfishers, swallows, bulbuls, and sunbirds during birdwatching. It is a very good bonding experience for the entire family and at the same time being one with nature. It is both relaxing and educational as staff of the Eagle Center would be very much glad to assist and answer queries.

With your barkada

On March 15 to 18, you and your friends might want to check out Resto Row from 5 p.m. onwards. Manic Nightnings Production is organizing “Alive After 5” wherein you and your friends can groove and dance with the 90s hits and latest and hit songs of today. This is perfect for group of friends who are very much into the party scene and would love to be around new crowd. Resto Row is located along McArthur Highway, Matina fronting S&R.

However, if you and your barkada are not much of party animals, but love everything about food, on March 23 to 25, you might want to check out The Weekend Souk at Abreeza Ayala Malls Asian Fruit Market. This is another leg of Manic Nightnings Production’s The Weekend Market which most of the millennial Dabawenyos are fond of. A number of food concessionaires will be putting up their booth for the visitors to choose from.
