FIRST, it was the scandalous, shameless exoneration of the big illegal drug suspects Kerwin Espinosa, Peter Co and Peter Lim and other big drug lords by the corruptible Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecution panel.
Now comes the more scandalous announcement that Janet Lim Napoles, the brains behind the earth-shaking Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam involving the honorables Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada and Bong Revilla, that she is enrolled provisionally in the government's Witness Protection Program (WPP) in the hope of turning her into a state witness.
State witness, my foot! Why, she is the most guilty among those charged! And here lies the magic woven by the magicians of the DOJ. Even freshmen law students know that only the least guilty can be admitted in the WPP.
Henceforth, the DOJ should be called the Department of Junking (charges that is) in exchange perhaps for huge amounts of money?
Even Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III was outraged by this pronouncement of DOJ: What an unbelievable, crazy development. Do some people in the DOJ really believe that Napoles is qualified to be a state witness in the PDAF scam which she herself invented, organized and perpetuated?
Well, Napoles seems to be way smarter than the others, the DOJ included. Imagine having the respected senators incarcerated for the anomaly perpetrated by her? Smart kid, this Janet.

Senator Risa Hontiveros calls it travesty of justice. I call it pecuniary justice, where the price tag is so high even the learned prosecutors cannot refuse. Wait, are they really learned? I doubt it because they wield a lot of magician's tricks.
