Engineer fails to address complaints of suppliers

PROVINCIAL Legal Officer Jose Maria Valencia on Thursday, June 29, said engineer Leo Galvez of the Provincial Engineer's Office (PEO) still failed to act on the complaints of some suppliers against him.

The suppliers filed the complaint against Galvez before the Office of the Ombudsman but it has not acted on it yet.

Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. earlier ordered Galvez to report to his original assignment at the PEO motor pool.

Valencia said he has already instructed Galvez to act on the suppliers’ complaints so that due payment for their supplies could be made, but Galvez still failed to do so.

The complaints are relative to Galvez’s previous assignment as inspector.

“I don't know what’s his reason but he has been complaining that he was not assigned of any job,” Valencia said.

About the complaint of Galvez before the Civil Service Commission (CSC), Valencia said they already informed the CSC that a grievance committee has been formed to act on Galvez’s complaint about his status.
