Kahinumdoman nga gimugna ni Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio ang “Kean Gabriel Hotline” isip pahinungod kang Kean Gabriel Agustin, ang kwatro anyos nga bata nga namatay gikan sa kamot sa iyang mga guardian niadtong Agosto 2016.
Ang hitabo mibukas sa kamatuoran nga daghang kabataan sa dakbayan ang nabutang sa alanganin ang kahimtang, tungod sa nagkadaiyang sirkumtansiya.
"We congratulate Mayor Inday Sara Duterte for creating the Kean Gabriel Hotline and for paving the way for the public to be more vigilant against child neglect and abuse," mensahe ni GMA Regional TV Department officer-in-charge Oliver Amoroso sa gihimong paglagda sa memorandum of agreement (MOA), nga nag-formalize sa partnership tali City Government of Davao ug GMA Network sa Marco Polo Hotel Davao, Hunyo 30.

Gipasabot sab sa mayor nga ang hotline ug center nga namugna may 24-7 nga personalidad, diin sila gilangkuban sa mga social workers, abogado, pulis ug uban pang propesyunal nga motubag sa nagkadaiyang panginahanglanon, apil na ang pag-rescue.
Ang hotline may numero nga 0908-818-4444, diin pinaagi sa "Kean Gabriel Hotline" ang publiko gidasig nga makigtambayayong sa pagreport sa mga kaso sa pag-abuso sa kabataan, pinasagdan.
Suma pa nga sukad namugna niadtong 2016, ang 24/7 hotline nakadawat na og 84 ka report diin 61 niini ang na-rescue.
Mga kabataan nga na-rescue gibutang sa center aron sila maalima ug mahatag ang panginahanglan.

He was killed by an angry, violent stepfather who forced him inside a sack, struck him repeatedly until he died without getting any help — not even from his own mother. It was the kind of death that shows the dark side of the human heart. We do not wish to just accept his death or child abuse as just another fact of life.
