SONY Philippines is set to introduce a new technology that will raise the bar in cinematic experience through its new Bravia 4K and Full HD Lineup powered by Android.
"We (Sony Phil.) take a big leap in sound and home entertainment technology, as we will be introducing our new innovation to the Philippine market the new Sony Bravia Android TV," said CJ Deacosta, marketing officer of Sony Philippines, during the brand's presentation Wednesday at the Sony Centre, Abreeza Mall, Davao City.
The Bravia's latest line of smart and innovative televisions will feature an intuitive user experience with the Android OS, state-of-the-art picture technology with its new 4K processor X1, ultra slim design of 4.9 millimeters and the four times better resolution than Full HD called 4K Ultra HD Resolution.
"With the latest 4K and Full HD lineup of TV's with the Android OS, we have created a platform that our customers will value. We are continuously aiming to become a lifestyle brand fit for every forward-looking customer," said Nobuyoshi Otake, president and managing director, Sony Philippines.
Deacosta said the product will be available by the end of June, adding that what they are doing now is the pre-selling promotions.
"As one of the dealers here in Mindanao, we are very much excited, as we can now enjoy what we do in our smartphones and tablet in a bigger and better on TV with Sony Android TV," said Ruben Bangayan, president of Metro Plaza.
Deacosta also said that the New Bravia series will be available in a competitive price ranging from P39,000 to P500,000.
"We believe that the Philippine market can easily adapt with this new technology since most of the Filipinos are using android smartphones and they want to experience it to a bigger screen," she added.
Annually Sony Philippines is conducting a "trend" monitoring. Based on their research, three or four out of 10 Filipinos are using smartphones.
The new Bravia 4K and Full HD TV series will be made available in all Sony Centres and authorized dealers.
