In Negros Occidental, a tricycle driver was gunned down by a watchman in front of a beer house in Talisay City early Monday morning.

Police identified the fatality as Gregorio Rivera Jr., 32, of Barangay Zone 10.

Superintendent Adonis Rosales, city police chief, said Rivera was having a drinking session with friends while suspect Reynaldo Dequinan, 50, of Barangay Matab-ang was also with his group.
