Kris Aquino confirms negotiation with TV network

QUEEN of Talk Kris Aquino said that she is currently negotiating with a network for her television comeback.

In a recent interview, the television host confirmed that there are already talks but she doesn’t want to reveal with which network.

“I am not allowed to say kasi nag promise ako sa kanila to shut up,” she said.

Aquino added that even though she’s been very active online, it is still different when it comes to traditional media.

"I am not disregarding the need to be back on free TV. The negotiations are ongoing. I’m excited about it. It’s something also very new for me, but it’s something that I’m not rushing because I want the right project.”

She also revealed that many shows were offered to her but she has been very picky on what to accept.

The TV host said she wants her comeback to be very special to her and to the audience.

"If I just wanted to be back, I would have grabbed it. But I didn’t want to just grab something just to be back. I didn’t want to cheat the audience or myself.”

Aquino left the ABS-CBN first quarter of last year and is currently associated with APT Entertainment.

Meanwhile, the actress was also questioned on her latest Hollywood project. Even though she already posted several photos from her Singapore shoot, she remained mum about the movie.

The only thing she could share is that she has good relationship with the film’s director.

"The director is just super duper the nicest. I love him and natuwa siya sa akin kasi kinuha niya lahat ng contract information naming. Nasabi aniya na parang, ‘Let’s work together again,” she said.

Aquino is also grateful that her hard work paid off and that she’s part of the still unnamed project.

“I’m so happy na parang once in my life, nakita ko na ganun pala. In-excede yung in-imagine mo. Ganun ka high tech,” she said.

Aquino is speculated to be part of the all-Asian cast of Crazy Rich Asians. (SunStar Philippines)
