BAGUIO City has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG) to provide Pag-IBIG coverage to informal or job order employees.
The memorandum was signed by Mayor Mauricio Domogan and Pagibig fund Ilocos Region area Lilia Anguluan.
Under the agreement, City Hall will submit to Pag-IBIG the list of job order employees and their monthly income.
The employees will then authorize the city government to deduct from their salary their Pag-IBIG membership dues.
Job-order employees will have a monthly Pagibig membership contribution equivalent to two percent of their gross income. Paul Rillorta
