THE Department of Trade and Industry has opened a Negosyo Center at its regional office in Baguio City to help boost the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the region.

It was the 10th such center put up by the department this year.

DTI Negosyo Center Program Manager Dorecita Delima said the Negosyo Centers offers small entrepreneurs free business registration assistance, and product development, marketing, assistance to finance and business management, and business information and advocacy such as technology transfer and training/seminar assistance.

“We hope that by this month we already have at least one Negosyo Center in 14 regions and at least 40 more centers, nationwide by the end of the year,” De Lima said.

DTI will also inaugurate the Negosyo Center at its Benguet provincial office on Magsaysay Avenue.  Carlito Dar
