Davao City worker nabbed in drug bust

A DAVAO City Hall employee was arrested on Thursday, July 6 around 7 p.m. in a drug bust conducted by personnel of Talomo Police Station.

Based on the police report, the suspect was identified as Jordan Gali Tayuan, 39, who was caught by operatives during a drug bust with the agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at Quezon Boulevad, Barangay 21-C, Davao City.

It was not stated what department he works with.

Recovered from his possession are three plastic sachets containing suspected crystal meth, locally known as “shabu”, one P500 bill, one coin purse, and one cellular phone.

Tayuan is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
