CEBU City Mayor Tomas Osmeña wants the City Government to have a unified number that residents can call in an emergency. Osmeña met with the representatives of Philippine Long Distance (PLDT) Inc. yesterday to discuss the matter. He wants the public to dial 911 through their cellphones or telephones, but calls should be directly connected to the command center. “They (PLDT) will make a proposal by package because there are special handsets that have cameras.
