Donations sent to Marawi

THE Negros Occidental Provincial Government has sent its assistance to Marawi City last week, including the P1 million cash, said Acting Provincial Administrator Lucille Gelvolea on Monday, July 10.

Gelvolea said the amount was deposited to the bank account of the Department of Social Welfare and Developmen-Soccskargen.

The donated goods were shipped in truck loads via Dumaguete City.

Those included donations from Bacolod City since the Department of Social Services and Development also endorsed the donations they received to the Capitol.

The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office facilitated the shipping of the donations to Marawi. (TDE)
