POLL RECOUNT. The manual recount of ballots in the first three provinces identified by the camp of defeated vice presidential candidate former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. in his poll protest against Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo could start this October.

DEATH TOLL. Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana on Tuesday warned the public against sharing unverified information about the death toll in Marawi City siege.

PH-CHINA. Malacanang on Tuesday expressed optimism on the relationship between the Philippines and China a year after the United Nations arbitral tribunal junked Beijing's historic claim in almost the entire South China Sea, called by Manila as West Philippine Sea.
