Pusher falls in Zamboanga drug bust

ANTI-NARCOTICS operatives arrested a suspected big-time drug pusher in an east coast village of Zamboanga City.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Zamboanga Peninsula Director Lyndon Aspacio identified the arrested suspect as Esiram Hajihil, a resident of Barangay Mampang.

Hajihil was nabbed in a drug bust around 7 p.m. Thursday in Purok 2, Panama Drive, Barangay Mampang.

Seized from him were 50 grams of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P70,000 and a bundle of "boodle money" placed inside an envelope.

Aspacio said Hajihil will be charged with violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. He was detained. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
