COMEDIAN Vice Ganda made a statement against the annual Yulin dog meat festival in China at the PEP List Year 2 awards night Thursday evening.
The television host surprised everyone when he arrived at the Solaire Resort and Casino clad in white ensemble by Joey Samson and a headdress made of fake dog skull.
Vice Ganda said it is his way of telling everyone that it is not okay to kill and consume dog meat, which is being done at Yulin dog meat festival in Southwest China's Guangxi province.
"Ito yung mainit na pinaguusapan ngayon na festival sa China na may kinalaman sa pagpatay sa mga aso. Siyempre sa Pilipinas hindi natin sinusuportahang mga Pilipino iyan kasi ito ay mga aso, bahagi iyan ng pamilya natin," the comedian said.
Vice Ganda received the Male TV Star at the said event organized by the Philippine Entertainment Portal. (Sunnex)
