Here comes ‘Pasyal at Saya’: First video blog show in Pampanga

IN TERMS of social media, blogging is one of the in thing. Most people can make a blog and, thereafter, to write after that blog. Called blogero (from the English blogger or literally "of the blog") the person writing the blog. Often written by blogero to blog their opinions and thoughts.

Most blogs contain commentary or news about certain topics; some were using it to make online diary (diary on the internet). An important part of the blog is being interactive, that is the ability to leave comments from people who read a particular blog. Oftentimes, blogs consist only of pure word (or textual), but also scored the content of the work ( art blog), photographs ( photoblog ), videos ( video blogging ).

A video blog or video log, usually shortened to vlog is a form of blog for which the medium is video, and is a form of web television. Vlog entries often combine embedded video (or a video link) with supporting text, images, and other metadata. Entries can be recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts.

Here in Pampanga the first ever we've heard of video bloggers is a group of health enthusiasts who do video blogging on weekends. First it was a hobby, now after a few weeks, they were able to penetrate the local TV network with ease:

Jonas David, a local Kapampangan R&B singer, former host of KTube, and a songwriter.

Patrick Kelly Naguit, aka Kelly is a graduate in Bachelor of Science Major in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of the Assumption. Worked for five years in a business process outsourcing and hopes to become a restaurateur someday.

Vilma Q. Aguas is a practicing dentist, alumna of Centro Escolar University Mendiola, Manila with a Degree of Diploma in Dental Public Health from the University of the Philippines, Manila. Currently employed as a public health dentist at Department of Education Division of Bulacan.

A self-confessed local traveller who wishes to change and conquer the 7,000 plus islands of the country.

Genesis Pamintuan Tolosa is a certified master fitness coach, a product of Holy Angel University, he took up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He is also a freelance bartender for almost nine years.

Valerie Ann R. de Leon-Barja, known as the event princess in Manila, finished AB Communication Arts at the University of Sto.Tomas. She also joined theater acting while juggling singing and modeling for extra cash. Vanna also appeared in some commercials and tv shows. A UST Pep Squad member, Vanna, as she is fondly called, became the hottest "DJ" in China, Hong Kong, and Macau.

These five indefatigable and energetic guys formed a group and put up "Pasyal at Saya" (with a segment titled Star Ka! hosted by Vanna) via their video blogs.

And soon these video blogs will be aired on Channel 44.

Watch out for this newest millennial concept which will surely make your day!
