ASIDE from shoes, bags are also a girl's bestfriend, right? I had the chance to chat with certified bagaholic Kristine Mae Luy Gales, the gorgeous owner of Simpulse Collection.
Her business, which she started nine years ago, gives bag lovers the chance to own luxury brands at a more affordable price.
According to Kristine, Simpulse Collection "is your source to buy, sell, consign, or trade in new and gently used authentic designer bag, shoes, luggage and accessories from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Hermes, Prada, and more luxury brands."
Kristine narrated that her love for bags motivated her to finally open a business that basically reflects this passion.
"I love bags and that made me decide that I wanted to share my passion," she said, adding that she started by selling her own used stuff and some other items she got from a thrift shop.
"I want to let others know that buying second-hand items is way wiser or practical rather than buying a brand new one," she continued.
In 2008, she opened a small shop and a year after, she grabbed the opportunity to maximize the internet to sell her products.
With the presence of imitations, Kristine always does her homework to make sure that what she is providing her clients are really worth their investment.
"The most important way to ensure product authenticity is to always buy from an authorized dealer or supplier. Also, for me as a seller I do some research on how to spots counterfeit, fake and copy products," she quipped.
Being a bagaholic myself, and probably to make other people understand why we should own at least one authentic high-end brand, I asked Kristine about the major reason behind it.
"Because luxury bags are definitely an investment. Prices of luxury brands are rising so fast. So for me, buying one now and enjoying it first then check the price after a year is surely a great catch," she said.
