Another drug surrenderer killed

A MOTORCYCLE-for-hire driver who was allegedly engaged in the illegal drug trade was shot dead by three masked men in Barangay Poblacion Ward 4, Minglanilla last Saturday night.

Ramon Zamora Espina, 44, succumbed to gunshot wounds in the neck and stomach.

He was rushed to the Minglanilla District Hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.

Supt. Dexter Calacar, town police chief, said the murder could be drug-related since the victim was listed as a pusher.

Espina surrendered during the Oplan Tokhang, but reportedly returned to selling shabu. (KAL)
