CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Five personalities were arrested and numerous illegal drugs were confiscated during a series of anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by police authorities in this capital city.
In Barangay Del Pilar, three street level targets were arrested by joint operatives of the Pampanga Provincial Intelligence Branch, City of San Fernando Police Station and Pampanga Provincial Public Safety Company.
The suspects were identified as Ferdinand Silerio, 38, Bonifacio Galang, 58 and Jimmy Pineda, 39.
Seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one cellular phone, one magazine loaded with six ammunition for caliber .380, six aluminum foil strips containing suspected shabu residue and the marked money were seized from the trio.
Another suspect identified as Roger Manlulu, 47, was arrested by operatives of the city police force during a drug bust in Purok 4, Barangay San Jose.
Seized from his possession were 32 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P20,000 and the marked money.
Meanwhile, Search Warrant No. 176-17 issued by Judge Celso Baguio of RTC Gapan City, Nueva Ecija for violation of RA 9165 was implemented by operatives of the Mexico Municipal Police Station in Barangay Pandacaqui, Mexico, Pampanga which resulted in the arrest of George Hidalgo, 44.
Confiscated from Hidalgo's house were 11 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one open plastic sachet containing suspected shabu residue, weighing scale, improvised tooter and lighter.
Police Regional Office Central Luzon Director Chief Superintendent Aaron Aquino commended the operating troops and said that the police will continue its unwavering efforts to eradicate illegal drugs within the region as “Double Barrel Reloaded” is being widely implemented in the country.
