Culianan village gets P2.5-M fire sub-station

THE City Government of Zamboanga turned over on Friday, July 28, the newly-constructed fire sub-station in the village of Culianan in line with its unyielding support to the security sector.

The fire sub-station, which cost P2.5 million, is located at the Culianan Rural Service Center and was constructed by a private construction company under the supervision of the City Engineer’s Office.

City Vice Mayor Cesar Iturralde spearheaded the turnover of the facility to City Fire Marshal Clint Cha.

Iturralde said the project forms part of Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar’s priority agenda under the Security, Health and Education (SHE) program and is intended to help ensure safety and security of the residents in Culianan and the nearby villages.
