City hall tells employees not to go to casinos

TO ensure ethical behavior among City Hall officials and employees, the Cebu City Council wants strict compliance with a memorandum from Malacañang that prohibits all government officials and employees from going to casinos.

During last week’s regular session, Councilor Sisinio Andales, who authored the resolution, said he has received reports that some employees go to casinos.

Andales, who heads the committee on labor and employment, said officials and employees that City Hall does not tolerate this. (RTF)
