IN CULMINATION of the Nutrition Month Celebration, the Local Government of San Fernando through its City Agriculture and Veterinary Office held an awarding of inputs on edible landscaping, organic agriculture and container farming on Friday, July 29.
Various garden tools, organic fertilizers and assorted vegetable seeds were given to different sectors engage in farming composed of the farmers, households and selected public schools in the city.
City Agriculturist Cristina Sangumay said the activity seeks to ensure food security in the city by promoting sustainable farming, thus improving agricultural productivity. (PR)
