It is now the fourth week of June. Our tasks and deliverables are already filing up. We are now again facing the realities of our work either as student, an office worker, a teacher or whatever one is busy doing. Here are some tips to keep you going.

Do not bite what you cannot chew. Chew the same way you bite. The result -- proper digestion. In real life setting, balance life.

In our desire to excel the soonest possible time, there is a tendency for us to do things which are not anymore in consonance with our body systems. Sleeping late at night, sometimes early morning and waking up very early without at least completing a six hour sleep are some of these bad habits.

To stay awake, we consume an unreasonable number of cups of coffee, numerous packs of cigarettes, energy drinks and other stuff that would kill our appetite for a good, sound sleep because we always say -- WE ARE BUSY.

If other task will be given to us, we always say -- WE ARE BUSY. Busy in the sense that we are just concentrating in one aspect of life, like work without considering that as human being, work is not everything. A college friend many years ago gave me the exact meaning of being "busy." He said that a busy person is one who has time for everything.

Interesting and I agree with him. A real busy person is one who knows how to balance his life, one who knows how to say critical yes and unconditional no and one who knows how to prioritize what is essential over trivial.

Our excuse will always be, we cannot do other things because we are hooked in one aspect we claim we are very busy with. However, when we try to analyze the amount of success we achieve, still, it is far from being ideal or just at par with a simple happiness of a little success.

Sometimes, we lack focus. We are always in a hurry to the extent that we are not anymore enjoying the benefit of thinking twice or thrice before we do things. Just to finish a task, we tend to pull efforts after efforts -- just quantity over quality. Later in the day, we feel, what we have done is not enough but all day long -- WE ARE BUSY.

Well, it is time to pause, think and redirect our thoughts to what is essential and necessary. One which will work better today and becoming best in the coming days. It is time to put more quality in our work --- not more quantity.

And when we step on the right gear, there is no turning back. We redefined the real meaning of 'busy', we are now ready to live with it and hope that we can chew properly the way we bite excitedly. It is good for our system.

Bite and chew. Keep ourselves busy, the real way.
