A SWISS feast awaits everyone in Marco Polo Plaza Cebu’s Cafe Marco. Ongoing now for more than a decade, Marco Polo Plaza is launching its Swiss culinary journey in celebration of Swiss National Day on Aug. 1.
“Starting today until next Friday in Cafe Marco, we will be featuring an array of Swiss delicacies, delights and delicious items,” said Marco Polo Plaza Cebu general manager Brian Connelly in his welcome remarks during the launch last Sunday, July 30 in the hotel lobby. The event also welcomed the First Secretary and Consul of the Embassy of Switzerland to the Philippines, Gregor Fristche.
This year’s launch was different from previous years, as the hotel welcomed its guests to “Swissness from A to Z” over its merry Sunday Brunch. From 11:30 a.m., friends, guests and members of the local press gathered to celebrate with a fabulous Swiss buffet spread, great entertainment and lots of fun and exciting raffle prizes.
