Ang “Media’s Choice” usa lang sa mga special award nga kabahin sa pre-pageant competitions alang sa ika-49th year sa Miss Mandaue, “longest running local beauty, personality, fitness and brains pageant”.
Si Godinez, 19 nga magsilbi untang representante sa Toledo City alang sa Binibining Cebu ang mi-back out gumikan sa conflict sa schedule sa iyang pagtuon.
“Pageantry really does in a way empower you in so many ways. As a child, I never imagined that I would be standing here in high heels and full-on makeup. But through pageants, I built my confidence. I can initiate conversations with anyone, I can speak my mind and I’m not afraid. So depending on how you do it and who organizes it, I believe it does empower women,” baruganan ni Godinez sa pangutana sa bahin sa kamahinungdanon sa beauty title o pageant.
Samtang first runner-up ang Nursing student nga si Gabriella Carballo, 19 ug second runner-up si Charyzah Esparrago, 18, tinun-an sa kursong business administration economics.
