Fly for free with 'GetGo'

PASAY CITY -- Who doesn't want to fly free of charge to any of his/her favorite domestic and foreign destinations? Well, this is no longer impossible as long as your preferred destination is served by Cebu Pacific Air (CEB).

With CEB's latest offering to its loyal customers, called the "GetGo", the newest lifestyle rewards program in the country, your dream to "fly-for free" is just within reach.

And it's very simple and easy to register and own GetGo card and earn reward points which do not expire as long as the account is active.

To avail of the GetGo membership and enjoy amazing travel rewards, simply visit www.GetGo.com.ph, fill out an application form, and for only a P150 one-time membership fee, have your personalized GetGo card delivered to your doorstep.

"Very soon, anyone can also grab a membership pack at the nearest convenience stores," Allan Florendo, CEB's Loyalty Division director for marketing and partnerships, said at the rewards program's launch for the regional press at the Resorts World Manila here last June 17.

He said the program was actually rolled out as part of the airline's 19th anniversary on March 8, 2015.

"Since then, more than a million frequent fliers of Cebu Pacific have already registered for GetGo membership, considering that members of CEB Club, CEB's previous membership program, are automatically become GetGo members," Florendo said.

In 19 years, Florendo said the airline has developed a solid base of frequent fliers, with 1.4 million CEB Club members and 630 corporate accounts.

He said members of GetGo, can earn points when flying with the airline which will enable them to get free flights.

Florendo said GetGo members can redeem and use these points to book local or international flights within the Cebu Pacific network.

"With enough points, this can be absolutely free. It also gives customers access to other exclusive promos and add-on services from the airline," he said.

Additional points are also given members who avail of add-on products such as reserved seats, additional baggage, meals and more.

"With the GetGo customer loyalty program, earning rewards points is as easy as paying for everyday purchases such as groceries, gas and utility bills using major credit cards and transferring rewards points to a GetGo account," Florendo said.

"In the coming months, some of the country's leading retail, banking and service brands will join our growing network of partners to offer more opportunities for millions of Filipinos to earn rewards points and fly with Cebu Pacific for free," Nik Laming, GetGo general manager, said in a statement.

"With this exciting lifestyle rewards scheme, all you need to do is fly, shop, dine and get ready to go places," he said.

GetGo current anchor partners are Citibank, Metrobank, RCBC Bankard, Security Bank and BDO credit cardholders can convert their rewards to GetGo points and start flying for free. Other partners include ZAP and RingRob Concierge. GetGo also has promo partners, namely Enchanted Kingdom and EastWest Bank, where in members can avail show card and other privileges.

Unlike traditional frequent flyer programs, the GetGo rewards program offers more customer-friendly perks. To collect rewards points faster and make it easier to fly for free, friends and family members can form a group and pool their points together.

GetGo's points plus cash payment scheme also enables members to fly faster and further to their choice destinations by topping up with cash.
