BAGUIO Mayor Mauricio Domogan will have to look for a replacement for a member of the City Sports Promotion and Development Council who was dismissed for grave misconduct.
City sports coordinator Gaudencio Gonzales told Sun.Star Baguio Domogan will have to recommend someone to take the place of former Saint Louis University Athletic Director Henry Fuentes in the council.
Last week, the administration of SLU dismissed Fuentes after a school inquiry found him guilty of grave misconduct for allegedly making sexual advances on a 17-year-old assistant.
“So far hindi pa natin alam kung anong magiging decision ni mayor as the chairman of the CSPDC, pero probably he will already make new arrangements kung sino ang papalit sa position ni Mr. Fuentes,” Gonzales said.
The mayor heads the sports council.
“Out of delicadeza siguro the mayor will have to drop Mr. Fuentes out of the list, especially that the cause of his dismissal sa SLU is very sensitive,” Gonzales said. (Mark Victor Pasagoy)
