UCPB donates clothes to soldiers in Marawi

THE UCPB Group donated hundreds of undergarments for Filipino soldiers battling against terrorists in Marawi City.

Higinio O. Macadaeg Jr., UCPB president and chief executive officer; retired Navy Capt. Elpidio B. Misolas Jr., Conglomerate Security Group head; and Stella A. Fulgencio, Human Resources Group head brought the boxes of garment to Major Gen. Ronnie S. Evangelista, head of the military’s Civil Relations Service, at the headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Philippines at Camp Aguinaldo on July 17.

“We want our soldiers to know that they are in the prayers of our Bank associates, and through this donation, we are grateful for their sacrifice and service,” said Macadaeg.

Evangelista thanked the bank for the donation, saying that such an act of kindness boost the morale of soldiers in the frontlines.

The bank donated 1,200 pieces each of shirts, underwear, and socks.
