10-minute power break in Davao on August 6-7

DAVAO Light and Power Company (DLPC) will conduct a 10-minute power interruption on August 6 and 7 both from 12 a.m. to 12:10 a.m. affecting customers connected to Dumoy, Puan, and Sta. Ana substations.

These service disruptions will be necessary to conduct preventive maintenance activity at the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines' 150 MVA Transformer Number 3 and to facilitate reconfiguration of Davao-Digos 69 kV line along Binugao affected by the construction of a pedestrian overpass.

Specifically affected are customers along R. Castillo Street going to Agdao up to Bolton Bridge including Boulevard, Chinatown and Obrero.

Also affected are customers from Ulas going to Toril proper, which includes Talomo, Puan, Dumoy, Bago, and Lubogan.

Davao Light apologized for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions but it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier.

However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

For inquiry, contact DLPC's 24/7 Call Center Service at 229-3572 for any power interruption that will fall outside the given indicated schedule. (PR)
