"Sobrang bait ni Tita Vi. Parang wala akong masabi.

Jessy feels grateful to know that she and boyfriend Luis Manzano have earned the approval of his mom.

The Kapamilya actress fondly calls the congresswoman “Tita Vi” and her boyfriend Luis as “Lu.”

Jessy is very much happy with the way “Tita Vi” treats her like family.

She said: “Sobrang bait ni Tita Vi. Parang wala akong masabi.

Jessy was told that Vilma recently had an interview wherein the congresswoman defended her and Luis from their detractors.

I know she means well.”

After a year of being in a relationship with Luis, Jessy described what it's like bonding with the congresswoman and Star For All Seasons.

“Oo, galing lang siya ng States nung isang day, tapos nag-Gawad Urian Awards na [last July 20]. So yun, nag-text siya kanina na nami-miss niya daw kami. Magkita-kita daw kami soon. Kasi nga, lagi kaming may ginagawa, si Lu laging may trabaho. So, siyempre nag-aantayan lang kami ng free schedule.”

Jessy further said that Luis is also close to her family.

Last June, she finally introduced the 36-year-old TV host-actor to her British-Lebanese father who came to Manila for a quick vacation.

What was her father’s impression of Luis?

Jessy happily replied: “Same sila ng humor. Sabi ng dad ko, ‘I like him. He’s funny like me.’ So yun, nagkasundo sila agad.”
