Notorious 'thief' found dead

A Man tagged as a notorious thief was found dead at the shoreline of Purok San Roque in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City Friday morning.

Police identified him as Wilson Dolar, of Barangay Dulao, Bago City, Negros Occidental.

Police Station 8 head Wilfredo Benoman Jr. said residents found Dolar's body around 10:15 a.m. with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim's hands and feet were tied.

Benoman believed Dolar was killed somewhere and thrown at sea in the village.

He said the victim has an arrest warrant for murder in Bago City Police Station and was identified by residents to be involved in the theft and robbery incidents in the barangay.

Meanwhile, one of the three men caught stealing PVC pipes in a construction site at Barangay Zone 15, Talisay City on Thursday died.

Based on reports, Pato IbaƱez jumped from a bridge, causing his death.

His companions Ronel Mocon, 29; and a 17-year old minor were under the police custody.

Recovered from Mocon and the minor were the stolen items and the tools they used in committing the crime.*
