Construction of new Bulua police station edifice set

A NEW building for Police Precinct 7 set to serve residents of Barangay Bulua and nearby barangays will soon be constructed.

The Barangay Council of Bulua under village chief Al Legaspi allotted the amount of P1 million for the project in its 2015 annual budget, which is now being reviewed by the Cagayan de Oro City Council committee on barangay affairs chaired by Councilor Yan Lam Lim.

Other projects to be implemented this year also in Bulua are the roofing of the bleachers at the Bulua National High School, rehabilitation of the drainage from Zones 1-12 and Goking Subdivision in Zone 8, the installation of light at the pathway of Zone 6, concreting of the pathways at Zone 3, installation of steel footbridge at Zone 8 and the development of the Tuburan Spring at Zone 2 Lower Bulua.

The barangay, with an estimated income of P19,141,534, also appropriated funds to purchase lots for road right-of-way at Zone 5 and Upper Zone 8.

Ten percent of its annual budget in the amount of P1.9 million will be used for the programs and projects of its youth sector while P956,427 is set aside to strengthen its Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council and to prepare the barangay for calamities. (PR)
