Bzzzzz: Boys will be boys

AS THE saying goes, boys will be boys, regardless of their age and occupation. So observers were not surprised about the reaction of male local government officials to a young and pretty woman in their midst. The only question in the observers’ minds was, who would make the first move and how.

Observers placed their money on the official who aspires to be a member of Congress in 2016, thinking he could be the boldest. And they were right. The official was the first to step in front of the woman and introduce himself. He was followed by his colleague who considers himself an expert in law.

The other men had no choice but grin with resignation as they are not as nimble as the two colleagues. Or maybe their wives are more watchful.

Girl power

Rumors of an all-women tandem in 2016 continue to spread in this local government unit. Political observers can’t help but look for hidden meanings in everything related to the two women.

When one of the women handed out a popular brand of chocolates to her colleagues during a meeting, recipients and observers jumped to the conclusion that the women have reached an agreement and that the sweets confirmed it.

The brand of the chocolate contained the first letters of the two women’s names.

If the rumors are true, the slogan of the would-be political team would definitely have recall.

Selfie

Obviously, the tendency to take selfies is not peculiar only to the young. A local government official who is past middle-age likes to indulge as well.

“Selfies are not a crime but shouldn’t the official know when is the proper time to pose and take a photo of himself?” asked an observer.

The official took a photo of himself while his colleagues were busy discussing policies that affected the welfare of the local government unit and its residents.

Career shift

A known drug lord has reportedly decided to drop his business. Those who learned about his decision think that maybe, the drug lord just wants to lie low as police intensify its campaign against illegal drugs.

But a Bzzzzz source said the drug lord wants to end his involvement in illegal drugs because he is eyeing a career in politics.

Running for an elective post involves money and the drug lord has amassed a fortune. His survival in the illegal drugs trade also indicate that he has the right connections. Money and connections are key to winning an election, said a Bzzzzz source.

But the Bzzzzz source doubts that the drug lord would abandon the illegal drugs business. “Maybe he will just have a dummy to take care of the illegal stuff while he’s busy campaigning,” the source told Bzzz
