A 57-YEAR-OLD farmer landed in the hospital after he was hacked by his drinking buddy in Barangay Lepanto, Alegria.
Police identified the victim as Romeo Carriaga. Suspect Paterno Jadol, 50, fled after the incident.
He allegedly used a bolo in attacking his neighbor last Friday afternoon.
Before the incident, Jadol and Carriaga were reportedly drinking and arguing outside a store, forcing Jadol to go home.
Carriaga went to Jadol’s house, where the suspect hacked him.
Carriaga was brought to the Reinhard Wirtgen Memorial Hospital for treatment. (KAL)
