SO LATE last week, I had an invisible “Do Not Disturb” sign again. Why? Because it was the Ricoh Women’s British Open. After day 1, I was looking forward to more days of watching the competition because Michelle Wie finished first. But, oh dear, she scored a 76 on day 2. In-Kyung Kim played remarkably well from day 1 to day 3 and did not have to finish in the 60’s on the final round. In-Kyung Kim won the 2017 Women’s British Open by two strokes.

After the final round, here are the top finishers: first In-Kyung Kim, second Jodi Ewart Shadoff, tied for third Michelle Wie, Caroline Masson, Georgia Hall; sixth Jenny Shin and tied for seventh Shanshan Feng, Anna Nordqvist, Hyo Joo Kim, Stacy Lewis. Lydia Ko finished tied for 59th.

Change topic. Rancho Palos Verdes had its recent tournament called RPV One Ball Two Some Golf Tournament. It was held last July 29, 2017.

Congratulations to the winners!

Here they are:

Team over-all gross champion Jerico Bajo and Addy Briones; net champion Il Gyu Kim and Jae Un Lee; division 1 team net champion Bong Hee Lee and Kwang Youl Park, runner-up Oscar Rebosura and Vince Gumapac; Division 2 team net champion JongKu Yoo and Gui Nam Kim, runner-up Boy Arriba and Jimboy Panisales; division 3 team net champion Ryuji Oshima and Yozuru Maruyama, runner-up Dado Mahipus and Arnold Navales.

Did you notice anything? No Americans, Europeans, and Chinese? Not all nationalities are represented this time. Hehe. I am sure it was a fun tournament. A lot of stories were probably shared during the awarding. No personal fights after that I hope. Did everyone end up as friends still? Nyahahaha
