CCPO to establish system to fight theft, robbery

THE Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) will implement a patrol beat system to curb theft and robbery in the streets.

CCPO information officer Chief Insp. Ramoncelio Sawan said that theft and robbery account for the highest number of index crimes.

Sawan said that customers in malls and other business establishments were also victimized by shoplifters.

Most of the suspects were from Cebu City.

Sawan said the police stations in Mabolo and Fuente have the highest number of theft and robbery incidents since these are highly-populated areas. (JOB)
