MAICA Criselle Palo likes pretty things.
She likes makeup, nail polish, and getting her hair done. She also loves making people around her beautiful. But she’s not your typical girl next door. She is a businesswoman, and a daring one at that.
Born in Mabalacat, Pampanga, the 24-year-old Philippine-based magazine model and social media influencer turned entrepreneur has recently opened Ledeecia, a one-stop pampering haven in Nepo Quad, Angeles City.
The salon and skin care studio is her first foray into the beauty business, and she is the sole proprietor. Her determination to enter the industrywas ignited by her long-time dream to put up her own beauty venture that is a cut above the rest.
“I really wanted to open a one-of-a-kind salon which offers everything our customers need, from hair to skin care. We want to offer convenience by providing all of their needs in one place,” she said.
She furthered that even though she now lives in Manila, she chose to open her first beauty venture in Pampanga because she wants to offer something unique to her kabalens. Something that will make Kapampangan women, and even men happy—just as what Ledeecia means in French: Happiness.

With Ledeecia’s modern yet homey interiors matched with a touch of wood and greens, anyone who steps inside will surely be relaxed.
“We really put a lot of effort to provide the best atmosphere and ambiance to our customers, because it is one way of giving them the full pampering experience,” Palo said.
But don’t be fooled by Ledeecia’s elegant and upscale concept, the price range for its high-class services are actually competitive.
“At first, our customers thought our services are pricey because the place looks expensive. But once you look at our rates, you can see that it’s actually affordable,” she emphasized.
With a goal to make their clients feel special through experiencing luxurious pampering, Ledeecia offers an extensive line-up of treatments and services from hair services, manicures, pedicures, massages, eyelash extension, and eyebrow embroidery, to advanced skin care solutions like facial treatments, warts removal, slimming services, body hair removal, and whitening.
Through the modern equipment and latest technical advances that they use, Ledeecia has made every customer wowed with their new looks every time they come to the establishment for quality ‘me’ time.
Operating for only two months, the venture has become a favorite not only because of their top of the line products and state of the art machines, but also because of its highly-skilled crew who do everything to make their clients feel satisfied.
“We have a total of 9 well-trained and enthusiastic staff to cater to all our customers. Each of our hair stylists and skin care specialists provide expert and first-class services that are sure to give you a fresh new look and a healthier glow with each visit,” Palo noted.

Currently, Ledeecia offers its opening promo: Ominiplex + Classic Color for only P1,799, RF + Lipo Cavi (10 sessions) for only P6,999, and unlimited IPL Permanent Hair Removal for one year for as low as P5,999 to P7,999.
Future plans
With her salon and skin care’s unique concept, few customers have gone to Palo subtly telling her they want to do business with her, either by branching out or franchising. But she’s still hesitant to take that step.
“I want to polish everything first, and make sure that I master the ins and outs of the business in one year time. After that, maybe I’ll consider the offer,” she stressed.
Furthermore, she disclosed that she will soon open another branch in Taguig which will focus more on nail services.
“It will open next month, it is called Ledeecia Nail Lounge and will be located at the The Fort,” she revealed.
Palo added that she has also set her sights in opening another beauty venture in the province.
“Hopefully, I can be able to open a full-scale Ledeecia branch in SM Pampanga this year,” she said. (Erika Mariel Gines)
