A 15-YEAR-OLD gang member was taken into the custody of a local social welfare office after he allegedly pointed a gun at his 10-year-old neighbor in Barangay Poblacion, Sibonga, Cebu, at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 12.
Chief Inspector Stephen Amamag-id, the town police chief, said the parents of the 10-year-old boy want to file a complaint.
He said they will charge the 15-year-old boy with grave threats if the social welfare office will issue a certificate that the latter had discernment.
Investigation showed the 10-year-old boy was walking toward his house when the suspect aimed a .22 revolver, which had no bullets, from behind.
The two boys were not at odds. Amamag-id said the 15-year-old boy pranked the younger boy.
Amamag-id said they still have to determine who owns the firearm, which was recovered from a comfort room. (KAL)
